Hi Everyone,
The spot on my forehead turned out to be a low grade cancer but they got it all the first time they did the biopsy, so all is well with that. I have had a cold/flu illness for about 2 weeks now and the doc said I don't have pneumonia, which is very good but I still have to try to keep from getting it, I sure don't want to go back into the hospital again!!! We have made an offer on a house in Colorado near our daughter and are waiting to hear back from the owner. We also had a realtor come to our house and let us know how much we could get for our house now if we wanted to sell quickly. We were shocked at how much the value of our house has come down! We are going to try to sell it if we get the Colorado house but might have to rent for a few years. My transplant twin Jane (we both had our transplants the same day by the same doctor) is not doing well so if you would pray for her and her family I would really appreciate it. God bless.

Jan 24 Day 264
Hi Everyone,
About 3 weeks ago I got a rash on my face, it was red like I had been sunburned. About a week later white spots started appearing so my doctor said I should see my dermatologist cause he thought I might have graft vs. host disease. My derm doctor told me it was scales and she thought it was caused by my meds, but it might be GVH so she biopsied to make sure. She also took two biopsies of spots that she thought looked unusual (one on my arm, one on my chest). She called me today and told me first that the test for GVH was not conclusive so we still don't know for sure. She also told me that one of the spots she biopsied was melanoma and had to be removed. It is only a small and thin one but needs to be taken off. She said that another doctor would actually do the surgery and would call me to set it up. Well, about 3 hours later they called and my surgery is on Monday Jan 28th at 10:30am. They said they will cut more out and put in stitches and send it to the lab, who would have the results back to the doctor the next day. If they got it all, they will take the stitches out in 10 to 14 days. If they didn't get it all out, I have to go back in that day and they'll take more out until they get it all. I do wish nothing more would come up, it seems that I've had one thing after another for quite a while, but God is still seeing me thru this and I love Him all the more. God bless you all.
